Interesting both Pa and NY have shut down most of The Interstates North of I 80

Complete Ban on empty trailers .

The first time I can remember Commercial Vehicle Chain Law being Invoked any place in Pa.

I did not hear all the details.

Where are they going to park all these Trucks.

Not any Snow on the Ground Here .

Just enough to look kinda cool.
Well I found out just how scary and absolutely terrifying a fishtailing trailer is. Had with a loader on a 3 axle behind my dump truck and she started to sway a little. I just kept driving and figured she’d settle down in a moment. She just got worse till I was getting pushed all across the interstate and the trailer was up on one side and slamming down on the other. It only got worse till I drifted down to about 45 and the trailer settled down. So far scariest thing ever and I’m dam lucky I didn’t flip it or go into the barrier. Lesson learned, loaders go far far far forward.

    I can not like that!

It could have been a much more expensive lesson .

To much weight on the Trailer will do that.

Well talking with the mechanic he asked what way I loaded it… I will now be putting loaders on backwards. I’m sure someone will get a kick out of this and someone will remember it next time they think about tongue weight.

Friday for me! Got some long overdue yard work getting done starting tomorrow. Hopefully be done by the end of the weekend. Expensive but worth it, I hate yard work and this is a lot. Light clean up and basic maintenance I'm ok with.

Be safe! Watch those low bridges I doubt you have as many as back east or Chicago.

Around here you get stopped if you have a vehicle without wheel straps on a trailer.

Even when secured with chains .

Yeah west coast/ Idaho we don’t really have to worry about overhead. I gotta worry about dragging the back of the coach if I lift it to high tho.
