Man you guys are getting hit hard with snow!

 

It was less visibility in person, and with gusting winds I was losing sight of the jeep on occasion on the 10 minute drive home. Finally a proper damn snowstorm, but far too late and too warm.

 

Go in the middle of the drive, clear a 1 foot diameter hole to the pavement, then go back inside and sip hot chocolate made with chocolate milk while the sun melts it for you.

 

We've only had 6 inches this whole year instead of our usual mid 20s!
It was a beautiful day and should be a nice evening...

 

We had probably a good foot and a half of ground cover a little over a week ago, I was down to grass already before today. This winter has been terrible for any sort of snow dependent activities.

 

Wow! Melted pretty fast!

 

We got the wind, too!
Reports of 60 to 70mph. Which is really, really weird for out here.
There were 2 downed fir trees blocking the road on my way out this afternoon.
When my wife came back 3 hours later, they were cleared - but there were 2 new ones down just blocks away.
Now that I'm in the office, they're issuing Winter Weather and No Travel advisories.
Great.
My daughter reported her usual 12 minute (6 mile) drive back from the tea cafe took about an hour.
Just messy. Should've stayed home.

 

Sounds like a good day to develop a mysterious cough...

I've been messing with him on the whole 4WD thing for probably over 2 years now

 

You're not the only one. Every time I take it to the dealership for oil changes, they send me text updates. And every text specifically says "2wd tundra"

Also I made it out of the driveway in three attempts this morning. Would've had it in two, but I had to stop just short for a plow going by and had to back down for one last run up.
