My 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD SR5, V6, code P0430. My Tacoma works very good. Do I have to change the AF sensor and the O2 sensor? What can I do to fix it?

More than likely you need a catalyst…

Check for exhaust leaks first, don't throw sensors at it.

P0430 means the sensors are working. The cat is not. Get it properly graphed before spending the big money on a cat.

Ive used 3 Cataclean bottles, it makes the code change from P0420 to P0430.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
How old are the spark plugs and how many miles on the truck?

The spark plugs are about a 1 year old. 214,000 miles.

I’d start by replacing all the dry rotted vacuum lines. Then (and @LeakyAC is gonna love this) I’d buy new ignition coils but that’s just me. Good luck!

Can I use an aftermarket catalytic, not OEM without the check engine light on?
