Now sure about Wolf Den Hollow. Illinios Bayou all the time. The Victor Camps are by the Illinois Bayou. This is Victor Camp #1.

Victor Rd or Payne Ridge Road go to the Brock Cemetary and then up to the Victor camps after the road crosses the concrete bridge.

Victor Camp 0 is to the right after crossing the bridge. Victor camps 1 and 2 are on the left after crossing the bridge.

There is a Wolf Pen Hollow in Johnson County by the Mulberry river.

Do you use Profinet at all? Our legacy Siemens PLC applications use it and we’re likely staying with it as we expand. We’re currently using a consultant for programming and changes, but I’d love to learn the language and possibly bring it all in-house someday.

Ugh, they want to make our local track an 1/8mi track instead. 1/8mi drag racing is like having sex for the first time, it's over just as it starts to get good. I'd rather they just shut it down and build some condos or something, but don't try to have 1/8mi bracket racing.

Yeah using it on this current project actually. Profinet from some remote IO back to the main cabinet. Its actually the one thing ABB has made easy to setup.

Nice. How did you learn Profinet and was it a steep learning curve?

Profinet is just a communication protocol. Theres really nothing to learn about other than setting up IP addresses between the master and slave.

Modbus is the annoying one with all the hexadecimal addressing you have to learn. Thankfully we dont really do that anymore since EthernetIP and Profinet are available.

Yeah, I actually forgot that there is another layer of code there to actually run the programs on the PLC. I’ll have to see what we’re using, pretty sure it isn’t MODBUS. I speak hex decently because of all of the CANopen and J1939 stuff we do, but I hear you. It’s not exactly fun.

Ladder logic is the actual programming language we use.
