Plus a lot of times it's even about getting lower bowl access, all home games are pretty much sold out from the beginning of the season so getting a set of lower bowl seats is pretty hard to find and when you do they are a pretty penny.

I've never seen someone get a 5 minute major for interference... just bad luck the way the boards are between the benches. He shouldn't be suspended.

 

I should start by saying I think Chara is a great D-man and far from a dirty player but you can't be serious can you? He didn't have the puck (wasn't even close) and he body checked him into the boards leading to an injury.

The punishment shouldn't be huge as it wasn't an intent to injure but to say he deserves nothing is crazy!

That is like saying when your driving wreckless and hit somebody with your car and kill them it was just badluck....

Bottom line: if your wreckless and irresponsible actions lead to the injury of somebody else you should be held accountable.

 

If a minor for interference results in an injury to the player on the receiving end it becomes a major penalty and game misconduct.

He will get 4 games .

 

HE should get nothing.. all he did is finish his check nothing shows that he forced him into wall.. it was all by chance.. just like the Dave Steckle hit on Crosby.. it was unintentional
