Intermittent starting problem?

Has anyone found what the problem was and resolved this issue of intermittent starts? I sold my 2019 Tacoma basic truck 6 months ago, with 2,300 miles on it, to a friend who now says she is having this issue, although we never did. She had the 3+ year old battery checked and was told that it's fine.

 

nearly 4 YO battery? That's probably the problem, infrequent use and short trips will make this much worse.

 

Well, I'm sure hoping that's all it is, though she was told that the battery is "fine" (I'm skeptical). As others on this thread have had this problem, I'm hoping that someone who finally got it fixed can let us know how they finally got is resolved.

Dude, I just got home and saw this. I’m not sitting around waiting for a reply to something that hasn’t been active for a couple of years. My last reply was no joy at the dealer and the problem has not recurred. That is still the current status. The problem has not recurred in a couple of years.
