JBL speakers replaced with Infinity (doors), Kenwood (dash; I do not recommend) and Pioneer (sub). Apeman dual camera dash cam with hardwire kit.
I saw the same thing today in my 2018. Cleaned it up and monitoring. I haven't used the telescoping feature at all except for when I first bonded with her, almost 4 years ago. No pic, but it greatly resembled OP's pic.

And I checked: blinker fluid, headlamp fluid, muffler bearings and knutenator valve are all to spec.

I made sure to get toyota to note it on my account, that way if something happens that because of it I can have a chance of getting it covered.

Seems like this has come up more often recently. Just noticed mine is also leaking. I will also monitor and take pictures.

This is happening to me too. TW won’t let me upload the video from my phone to show the spot on the mat and my oily fingers after touching the shaft… phrasing…

It’s been hot as balls in Denver recently which has made my clutch master cylinder creak horribly, but there’s no TSB out for the 21s yet, I digress. Anyway, I wonder if this is heat related too. I saw it some time in the past but this is only the second time I’ve seen it, can’t recall if the first time was last summer or not.

I checked for clutch and brake cylinder leaks but everything was dry. Plus, the drip was not directly beneath the either pedal. Pedals and linkages were all dry too.

This happened to my truck about a year or two ago, exactly like OPs pic. I wiped the excess off the column and cleaned the drip off the pedal. Hasn't happen again. I chalked it up to a simple overfill from the factory.

I'm waiting for it to heat up here in CO to see if it happens again, still way too cold for oil to drip. FWIW I didn't see it anymore after posting above, seems like it's a hiccup that doesn't stick around.

It’s just strange. Never had any issues and all of a sudden it was there. It’s been raining hard in NorCal and I thought it was water from my shoes so I left it over night and it was still there this morning and it was some sort of oil. I looked up and I didn’t see any drips. Turned the wheel like crazy and nothing

My wife had my 06 one day for some reason and came home complaining the brakes felt weak. I drove the truck directly to my local dealer, once I got there and in the service drive the brakes failed completely! Pedal all the way to the floor! Total replacement of Master Cylinder, etc. Brakes have always seemed to be an issue on my 06. I remember my dad used to have a Dodge Truck to drive where he worked (Navy Base), he always told me the brakes on the Dodge Truck were crappy!

@5nahalf Hmm. After a crappy winter here, I was investigating some recent creaking from the steering column. Don’t know if it’s emanating from the suspension up through to the steering column or it’s localized to the area under the dash downstream from the steering wheel.

Contorting to get a better look under there, I noticed my steering column was dripping in the same area too. Reading your post it sounds like that’s not the source of my creaking issue and the drip is normal. Not really expecting any fluid there though.
