My splines on the slip shaft are going . 200,000 mi and my u-joints and carrier bearing are in decent shape.

I'll keep the 200,000 MI drive shaft for a spare

What were your measurements from transfer case flange to rear end flange? How much of a lift do you have?

68 7/8's 2.5 front 2 rear, Dobinsons. Love the lift thought. I am regeared, so I'm pushing the limits of a single shaft, so since it didn't make things any worse or better is why I'm returning it. I don't need a 700 paper weight.

It's a solid shaft, you'll like it for sure!

Don't they have a disclaimer on their site saying not to buy it expecting it to solve vibration?

My measurements were 69 1/4" . I'm rolling a modified 6" lift . Modified how ? My heavy ass winch number and winch made it more of a fat 5" lift so I didn't want the 4" blocks in the rear . Threw in a 2.5 aal on stock springs and walla have perfect amount of rake in the front . Slightly rub 315/75/16 to the unknown they are 34.6" tires by 12.4" wide on 16" rims . I have cab mount relocation kit, haven't got around to installing the kit.

Did you see my response in the Dobinson thread about pinion angle? If it's setup correctly, your problem might be axle wrap.

Far as I know my pinion angle is good. When I pulled my driveline the spline shaft has play . 200k mi stuff wears out. Many trips of camping , Moab , grand canyon, glacier national park , Moses lake WA dunes , sand lakes Oregon dunes , Oregon trips , Montana trips , idaho trips, many eastern Washington trips, driving to work everyday, and playing on the weekends . locally . For sealed u-joints , they are all in tact still . Definitely impressive to me . Ive danced many times 100mph on i-5, especially after I got into tuning few years ago. Strong shit .

So I was doing some research and was looking at RAS suspension system. One thing I would like to note is it helps with axle wrap. I'm including link to product.

Also include link to Mr. Truck video

If and I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but for a fair price to stop axle wrap I'm definitely considering this product. From their claims you don't sacrifice ride quality, if anything it improves it. I might start another thread to see if anyone has tried this product, get some opinions on it. I have a air bag kit and have been hesitant to install. I don't want a harsh ride when not loaded. Traction bars are something I haven't really seen for our Tacomas. Plus really don't jeopardize offroading with traction bars hanging down catching on whatever when off roading

I've never owned one, but from all accounts I've heard and read, everyone likes it.
Version 1 of the kit for Tacomas, some complained of ground clearance issues with the bracket. Version 2, I believe addressed this somewhat.

My brother and I, bought twin '99 GMCs back in the day... He had installed a RAS and I had installed a Hotchkis anti-sway bar. His was a more comfortable and compliant ride...like it let the suspension do it's thing.

I'd try it before getting ladder bars or stiffer leaf springs.

fyi - if you are running a one piece ds you should get a double cardon front joint on it, the dc joint is really the key attribute to relieving vibes however you must set your pinion angle up properly for a dc one piece ds which is to align the pinion directly up the ds. This is the magic ingredient:
