I use this switch to DST to change batteries in all my firearm related electronics. Annual changes aren't needed for many, but it's cheap insurance to ensure they're always fresh.

Also do smoke detectors, programmable thermostats, etc.

 

If anyone has a line on a DD 308 upper (preferably 16"), let a brother know?

 

Have you decided on insurance? I have been researching but haven't landed on one.

 

Anyone pick up an FN 510 yet?

 

One nice thing about living in Florida. If it’s ruled a good shoot a civil case is prohibited.

When I moved to CO in 2015 BV was "expensive" but it wasn't bad. Bought my house out there for under $300k. Now that I live in The Springs you can't find a house under $350k. I try to avoid Denver like the plague, hate that place. Colorado is pretty but this Cali-lite BS is getting too much. I am stuck here for the next 12.5 years at least.

 

Carolina mtns are pretty damn sweet man. Everyone waved as you drive by in my town…I am from GA, and love that place…it too has changed a shit ton.
But it’s hot as fuck…so I moved up the 2nd tallest mtn in NC. Much better quality of life. Definitely cheaper over here.

 

All this talk of how Californians are ruining Colorado reminded me of a meme I saw the other day about Texas.

 

I live 1hr north of Asheville. In the middle of the Pisgah forest. 1 lame gravel road take you in on a 15min drive up my driveway. I am at about 5300’, which is high up for east coast standards.

 

Father in law lived in Brevard we used to go down there quite a bit it’s a nice area

 

Yup, born on a 200 acre horse farm outside of Richmond in Charlottesville, moved to south GA with my folks as a kid, went it UGA and made my way to the cabin my GPa built in NC finally!

I paid my dues…lives in downtown atlanta for 15yrs. Jesus

 

Charlottesville ha small world I’m about 40 miles north of there and work at a winery in Madison

 

If I could wipe TikTok, FuckBook and all the rest of those platforms off the face of the earth I would.
It has made our youth a bunch of spineless sacks of flesh, wandering around trying to figure out who they are by strangers boosting their egos. To older generations, it has made the weak…weaker, opening up the flood gates of old fuck buddies; ruining relationships across the globe!
We are fucked when we are old…our nation will be run by idiots who can’t mow their own lawn or wash their own car, due to the amount of atrophy their bodies have sustained from not doing shit.
