I have the stubby 3/8. It's great for most of the stuff I need to do.

The M12 is a 3/8. It's perfect for light duty work. Bertha is a 1/2" drive M18 and and it's a monster! I just want the Mid torque because it has a lot of power in a lighter tool.

I'd also go with the mid torque if I were only getting one.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
My results with sweating joints has been spotty but was willing to give 'er a go anyhow. Biggest problem is the new softener's bypass valve has 1" connections. Wasted a bunch of time (nearest HD/Lowes is at least 15 miles from here) trying to find the needed pieces to get to 3/4", hired a plumber. He'll have anything he needs in the truck.

Sometimes it's worth paying a pro just to save yourself time, and headaches.

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to replace a leaky pipe. We might also get an RO unit installed. :spending:

Oh there will be some mods all right
This was me on accident the other day. Went to a place that I like to walk and remembered there was a moderate sized bump at the entrance to the road. It grew.

    Ooof!

You could probably fix that if only you had a Milwaukee 3/8" Mid-Torque Impact Wrench. I heard a rumor they are on sale right now. :D

I think you are misunderstanding the "bad financial advice" part of this thread!
Who doesn't NEED one of every variety of every tool Milwaukee makes?

Are you sitting down? It'll be a novella lol. Icon RXT leaf packs. Wheelers front and rear super bumps kit with ubolt flip. Rough Country forged UCAs. Toyota appearance package Wheels with 265/75/16 X3 Grabbers. All Pro bed stiffeners. Nilight ditch light brackets paired up with some random Chinese brand wiring harness (that actually appears to be decent quality) that has a remote so I don't have to fish through the firewall (haven't decided on what ditch lights I'm going to run yet) and last but definitely not least, I've been snatching spare/corrective parts for cheap on here. I have another full set of OEM lug nuts, carrier bearing spacer kit, OEM alignment hardware, and 2 degree axle shims on hand. :D

    No shit!
I even remember my grandfather who was a carpenter. His toolbox didn't have much. A couple hammers and a couple of expensive hand saws that nobody was allowed to touch! That's all they used for building houses back then. Things are a bit different now....

Sounds like you better get the long travel on order just to be safe.
