The guy camping out of his lifted car in the background is hilarious and awesome at the same time.

 

I headed to Joshua Tree for the weekend, and probably had more fun on the BLM land at the outskirts. The park was so packed with city people that it felt like an amusement park.

I didn't want to pack/cook food on this trip so I threw some MREs in the truck. Surprise, they all had dud heaters

Caught a nice snow storm in Vermont last weekend. Three days of skiing, camping and testing out this mobile office

 

Does your dog actually let you sleep in the truck? Great setup.

The Mountains are calling and I must go. You should too! Taco is perfect for that.

 

Went up to the country land. Tested out new DAC tent. Used (2) 500w heaters. Probably would have been ok with just one of them.

 

@Hugh Jashole what size batt are you powering 1000w of heaters with?!

 

How are those type of sleep pads?

 

Nice! Just for a split second, I was going to tell you to moisturize, but then I realized you were wearing a glove. whew.

 

If anyone needs a throw down tent that fits behind our cubbies/seat. I found a decent 4p tent at REI.

+first responders, military, police, outdoorsman w some credentials. Sign up to gear trade. Found a lot of good deals on there as well. They may or may not ask for certs. But its a good gem for a decent discount.

Nice! I have the 6p one. Does well in the summers and some rain. Never taken it or camped in the winter.

Id probably get something better. Let me know how it works out.
