Nice. Hope I'll have rear shocks on by Hollister. Where do u guys suggest getting an eye to stem adapter? I don't have time to get it shipped.

Only 2 1/2 more days of work... woohoo... I'm ready to get the FJ out and see what she can do. Finished up my diff breather mod last night.

 

Sweet I don't think you will need it on Saturday but in June well that's another story

 

I think the last thing I want to do is get limit straps for the rear and ditch the sway bar.

 

Yeah after installing my 10" shocks I think I might need limit straps as well. just sitting my shocks are at 6 1/4" extended so I only have 3 3/4" of travel left in them before they top out. I'm going to jack up the truck 1" and check what the wheel to shock travel is I'm thinking it's like 3 / 1 maybe more just from looking at the angle and location of the shock mounts.

 

With the linked setup on the FJ the main limiting factors are the sway bar and then shocks. Other than that, nothing. if you dont have the swaybar in or shocks the only thing holding it in place is the wiring/brake lines! my brake lines are plenty long now. I dont want to rely on my shocks as the main limiting factor if i ditch the sway bar.

Picking up the shocks tomorrow. Jason is bringing me an eye to stem adapter on Friday and should have those on with extended brake lines by Friday night

So I did some checking and leaving a 8:00am is going to put us at Safeway at 9:30 and most of the guys are going to be there at 9:00 so I'm changing the meeting time for the east bay
We will be meeting in the Walmart parking lot at 7:30am and hitting the road at 7:40. it's only 20min but we can make up the time on the free way
