I refer to people like her as "I never said that" folks.

 

I've thought about putting a personalized recorded response in the voicemail telling people that my office phone isn't in the photo studio so I'm not always near it, and to just email me....but then everyone else working here would know that was a dirty lie when they hear it lol.

 

Oh yeah, that is a fair point too...I've dealt with a lot of that "you never told me!" BS before when I only have verbal communication as proof

While plausible deniability is still possible with email, it is a lot harder to pull off.

 

you can't use wheeling pics that are almost 3 years old to call someone out as a mall crawler

I work for a clothing label at their corporate headquarters out here, I run the photo studio solo ever since Covid. Do all the photography, editing and image management for the website and whatever else the buying team needs photos for

but yeah we shoot on model mostly and the owner is the pickiest mfk'er alive, so I have to do a lot of castings.

 

Oh god the last thing we need is for another Husky to teach Dex how to howl lol. He seems to have forgotten or never learned, not sure which, but we are thankful for it

Someone in our local neighborhood FB group found a Husky and messaged me asking if we'd take her in until the owner is found, I felt bad but there's just no way...house is too crazy as is

 

Sounds like a pretty fun gig other than the picky owner lol.

 

yeah luckily he's overseas most of the year these days. Back when I started 8 years ago we had an e-commerce department so I was part of a team of 8 or 9 others. Then he semi-retired and shrunk the company so we only sell wholesale now. E-commerce shuttered, everyone got let go but me and our Photoshop guy who eventually got let go during covid. Last man standing

 

I'm amazed how many people seem to go out to LA and NY to pursue modeling. A girl I knew in college is doing it now in NYC. I'd think the market would be really saturated but idk.

 

I may or may not have build that functionality into a desk as a kid

 

Oh it is saturated as all hell but it's where the majority of the work is. And it's a fucked up industry but what we do here is probably the easiest job a model could have.

 

I just wouldn't wanna be moving out there to try to start a career unless I had a big nest egg saved up with the COL being what it is.

 

Sounds like getting a free dog with extra steps
