That's too bad. It's basically too old now. You should sell it to me.

 

I try and keep them. I had 254K on my 05 Tundra that I sold in July of 21. Still regret selling it.

 

Just snagged me a Tekonsha brake controller on eBay… NIB with Taco harness for $125

 

254k, wasn't even broken in yet. I've read of multiple million mile tundras.

 

I thought the 3rd gen Tacomas came factory equipped with a brake controller? I know my brother's 2013 2nd gen did. Maybe it's a towing package option?

 

Didnt leak a drop or burn a drop of oil. It was still tight. Ran like a top. The frame scared me and I always wanted a Tacoma so here I am. I should have kept it, patched the frame, freshened it up and used it as my beater.

 

I have a 21 with a tow package and no controller.

My 2017 has the tow package, but no brake controller.

 

Tow pack yes, but no controller… didn’t even offer it to my knowledge.

Ol girl is gonna get a workout with a 22’ pontoon behind her. Total package wet with gear I believe will be about 4K lbs. But the tandem axle trailer should help reduce the tongue weight.

 

My brother's 2013 had a new factory equipped brake controller in a clear plastic bag in his truck. If I remember correctly it was packed away with the jack. He bought the truck new so he may have ordered it with the truck. I always thought it was included with the towing package, guess I was mistaken.

 

Took advantage of this warm weather and finally installed the Raptor lights on my grill. Easy as can be, except the wiring. All the fuses I wanted to run off of, like the DRL’s, are continuous power… so they wouldn’t turn off with the ignition completely off. So ended up jumping into the injector wire… that way they only come on when the ignition is in AUX or RUN… just the way I wanted it.

Depending how tomorrow looks (possible rain) I may try and get the RIPP coils installed. See what all the hype is about?!?!

i ran it off the tail light fuse so it would only come on when i turn on parking or headlights just to avoid having them on always with ign
