Thanks for this post. I put it on the calendar. New to the Taco family and excited to see what everyone has done. I've already added a Body Armor Bumper, Rough Country Winch and Light Bar, as well as Spotter Mirrors and the TRD 2/1 Pro Lift/Level. I will bring the parts I've changed out and see if I can move them to someone in need. All my items will be priced to move.

 

On and no rubbing so far! Not really noticing too much difference driving around town compared to 33s.

 

I'm new to the Tacoma family. I would be very interested in a trip like this. I am just starting my build but I have done Flagpole Nob. I am planning on trying to get to the Alexandria meet up on April 1.

 

A couple weeks ago I posted about getting a new Bilstein suspension. I had my suspicions before I bought them, and sure enough i was right. The purchase has been delayed ever since, and the wife said we can go public with it. *Drumroll* She's pregnant! So, holding off on the expendable stuff for a while. Should've bought them before we found out, dangit!

Peeps. We just got a couple of our downspouts buried so I have two concrete splash blocks. We just got them last year and I hate to chuck them. Free to whomever wants. Chuck them plastic ones your builder cheaped out on.

 

I'll take them, bring em to Chris' next weekend if they'll fit in the Matrix

Congrats dude! Parts are parts, so you'll get them eventually. Hell, you can have my fox shocks when I upgrade. lol

 

ps. update on my truck. New leaf springs (Icon rxt). The oem ones where literally flat.

 

You’ll love the rxt. Biggest tip I can give when you or whoever installs them is to make sure the truck is on its own weight when tightening down the bolts. The rxt has bonded rubber bushings, similar to oem, so that’s necessary. Other leafs that use polyurethane bushings it doesn’t matter.

 

Yeah, I can tell it drives much more grounded and not bouncy. Blocks are not the way to go either! I'm picking up a heavy coffee table from my pops in philly so I need something that won't break under stress on I95!! haha
