I have a dyna glo smoker that I did 4lbs of brisket on and I gotta say I was really impressed with the way it came out. I do like the kettle style smokers though even I haven't cooked with one. I have a buddy with a green egg which seems similar to what you have.

the vision is defiantly cheaper build quality and i wouldnt get the Pro S with the ash tray but if you're handy it will cook and hold temp well. Kamado Joe looks to be one of the better in terms of quality and price point.

    Same crap everyone else got

This one recently popped up in my youtube ads. It's the first time i've seen a pellet smoker and gas grill hybrid. Never owned a camp chief grill before but a buddy has their pellet smoker and he seems to enjoy it.

I have a drum smoker I built for longer big cooks. Shorter small smokes I have a small pit boss pellet smoker. And for grilling I have a webber kettle. I don't have a gas grill anymore but there are certainly times one would be convenient.

ya know, im sure those are nice but there's not much that can break on a ceramic grill besides the outside shell if it fell, few parts to replace. it will last as long as you want it to. Those on the other hand might need all types of parts replaced depending on how long you keep it.

So ill explain the easy way on getting the ac clutch out and getting rid of the dreaded ac light flashing. I removed the driver side engine splash guard and the skid plate to have easy access to the compressor. While in the process of doing so and while your under the truck might as well go ahead and inspect boots on cvs and bushings whatever you think may need to be replaced. So next I got the tensioner pulley to get the serpentine belt off and to make ease of getting the clutch loose. There are two snap rings you will have to remove after taking an 8mm bolt off first. Once thay bolt is out you will see the first snap ring that has to come off and I learned that I had to have some pretty straight and long snap ring pliers. I'm a big snap on guy so I was able to get in and out pretty quick with the snap ring pliers I have one ring will be internal which is the first one and the second will be external.

After the snap rings are off you will be able to get the clutch plate off then the pulley will come off next and you get to the magnet plate next and have to disconnect two wires one being a ground and one a bullet connector. After that you can remove the magnet and install the new clutch kit.

While I was able to check all the splines I was able to get in and clean those splines and tossed a little bit of grease and rust removal on there im a huge believer of pb blaster which works really well. That was all completed and I was able to install the new clutch kit.

The main thing to check for is seized up bearings within the pulley which is what I had an issue with and why my compressor would not engage the way it is suppose to. If you come across this problem or know anyone now you know what is needed and Scott hopefully that's detailed enough for ya!!

I used to be charcoal or nothing. Fought getting a gas grill for the longest time. I eventually gave in and haven't gone back. Charcoal tastes better, but the convenience of gas is hard to beat.

    Intrigued.
