You broke it already?

 

I've been meaning to ask/tell you

Did they machine the true Trac for a ecgs needle bearing bushing replacment?

Because you know how the cv axle goes into the carrier and rides on a roller bearing

Well the true track is just steel so steel cv on steel carrier don't always play nice what I had ecgs quote me for was machining the carrier to accept one of those bushings

 

In the process.

 

Should be the first mod anyone does to these trucks if they have an auto

 

What am I supposed to do with these ?

 

Enough work for tonight. Got the new front diff put together and it can cure overnight now.

I can't seem to sell the Westin steps mine came with, probably just gonna give them away

Along with my stock skid

And extra OEM cv axles

 

That went from little oof to big oof real quick

 

I even offered one or two on here and no dice

Then I posted it up on the Yota FB group, no one actually committed so to the trash it went

 

On craigslist?

I suspect these will end up in a landfill.

 

Yeah that's weird no one jumped on the axles. I remember when you were trying to give them away but I've got at least 6 extra CV axles in various places

 

He looks so much better tho...

 

I made an ad on here cause they fit the 1st gen Xtra cab Tacomas too but no dice. Also on OfferUp. They retail for around $350 new so I put them up for $150, will probably offer them for free at this point to get them out of the yard

 

With all the holes in your backyard, you could start hiding your extra car parts underground

 

I'm holding the diff up with a beer can, I've ascended beyond this realm

 

Its only a keystone tho.
