I posted about the rear and the cooler a week ago but why not give you all some more. Fox 2.0 remote and Deaver U402 stage 3. Cooler is a Hayden off Amazon.

Added 3.5 degree axle shims and removed my Carrier bearing drop spacers, FINALLY!!!!!!! No more drive shaft shudder at all.

Was trying to swap out my old passenger side leaf spring with my wife's 3rd gen take offs but the bolt will not come free soooooo on it stays until I can figure it out later.

Also added a 3rd gen shift knob from my wife's truck........still testing it out to see if I like it.

And for the finale a diy mount for the driver's seat. Attached my Streamlight flash light and a Chinese SOG knife for now.......got to sharpen my Benchmade.

Oh and found a split CV boot so that'll be getting fixed in the near future.

    none yet!
Just finished doing a test fit install on the access cab back panel. I ordered it up from Underland a few weeks ago and it arrived on Monday night. I had to trim off a couple tabs on the little airbox/vent so it fits flush. I'm going to order up some thin industrial felt and acoustical foam to put behind it. The nice thing is that this wall seems to add about 3-4" of extra space compared to the original access cab seat wall. Now to get going on the template for the platform. (I tried posting this to the everything molle thread but I don't post enough here to meet the 50 post theshold yet)

I’m trying to decide on shims or a one piece drive shaft. I’ve had driveshaft woes the whole life of the truck and blown up two diffs….currently i have a 2.5” lift and just a CB drop with no shims and the shudder is downright infuriating. :pout:

glad you got yours figured out!

Yeah I want a one piece drive shaft also but just don't have the $$ right now. All I ended up doing is eye balling the drive shaft to get it as straight as possible. I had 2.5° shims at first then decided to try 3.5° once I put those in I saw my CB was too low so took the spacer out and vibes all gone. So happy. Hope this helps you though.

Installed the Total Chaos bed stiffeners. So far they seem like a great addition.

How was my drive home last night? Well I’m glad you asked! After finally finishing work I’m driving home, looking forward to a drink of sorts, and my cheap Amazon ditch lights decided they want to have a disco party on the way home. Well that’s fine and totally right. So I pull over to unhook the leads from the battery. That’s when I realize my hood is frozen shut from the freezing rain earlier in the day. So I chance it and drive home hoping no cops pass my ways and no unfortunate souls get upset. So while it’s the 1980s in my garage minus the disco ball, I unfreeze my hood with a bic lighter and disconnect my lights. Come to find out I’m out of beer to make matters worse. What a way to end the day… All that to say I wish someone had shot the groundhog. Oh yeah and my basement flooded this morning:annoyed:

    Too many to list.
I would have a stern discussion with whoever is in charge of the logistics. No beer is unacceptable. At the very least the emergency beer stash should have been an option.

I posted this in a CB install thread but it’s not in the 2nd gen area.

You don’t have to take the interior apart to mount here.. I used a small ice pick to make pilot holes then a really short screw diver to mount the bracket.

Installed stripping on my faux trd pro grille today. Much better than the crap they sent me with the grille.

This actually happened several months ago. Installed a new head unit and back-up camera on my boys' '07.

I had one of my boys under the truck running the wires for the camera in the frame while the other was butt splicing and heat shrinking the harness adapter to the radio harness. Great project for spending time with the boys. Awesome little head unit. Can't beat it for the price. Tons of functionality. It was on sale on Amazon and I got it for $170. I had some reward points at Crutchfield and that's where I bought the camera.
Big shout out to @mrproduxn for turning me on to the unit and his recommendation regarding the Scosche dash kit and harness.

I didn't take any pics but had a really productive morning. I replaced both front axles, changed the oil, rotated the tires, greased the drive shafts and installed new cabin and engine air filters. This was my first time replacing axles, Went really smooth. Only took me 4.5 hours to do all of it.

Playing catch-up. My boys added a MBRP exhaust without my help last month to their '07. Very proud. And we also added a 2" Rough Country lift.

Turned out nice. We added a 1-1/2" block to the rear along with the new RC shocks. I really liked the coils and the shocks coming pre-assembled. The only tough part was getting the UCA connected after installing the new shock assembly. Fun project.

Waaay past due oil change. Finally warm enough in the driveway. Lubed the zerks with red and tacky. Also topped off the coolant...it was just above "low"
Life hack - a Dunkins cup is perfect for removing the oil filter and catching all the drips.

did the wife’s Subaru. We’ve got almost 1/2 a million miles between our two cars.

I ordered the little filter like yours. Went and changed it this morning, pulled the original little plastic filter holder, hell there wasn't a filter in it. Oh well, it's filtered now.
