Yes, using the 640172. I'll review the diagram, and plan to cut at the relay. Thanks!!

Saw a post a week or so ago about the new lights for next month and the upgrade offer. Can you advise more on this? IE, I have a set of SAE fogs I had in a 4runner, now wanting to put them in a bumper. Do you send them in? Get a kit?

I did see the pic of the new design but any updated info is appreciated. Would prefer to upgrade/exchange if able vs buying another and have a non-usable set of lights.

    Thanks and Happy New Year?

Hey @ncflyer, thanks for reaching out. The bulk of the information on the upgrade program we are going to be doing has yet to be released so I'm limited in the information I can provide. What I have been told is that we will be having you send in your older version and we will be doing all the internal upgrades to get you all up to date. I would imagine more repairs if needed will also be done under the warranty of the light. That's all the information I have as of now but keep an eye out in these next coming up weeks for more information.

Thanks. So if I'm understanding the initial information correctly. I can send you my original SAE fogs and BD upgrades to the new spec for free? Great offer is so

Yes, the only thing you will be paying for is the shipping to us. This free upgrade only applies to the SAE Squadrons as well.

    One more clarification question...

Planning on putting them in a bracket to mount in an aftermarket bumper vs the frame/round housing from the 4runner install. Would I be able to do this with the new design?

@Baja Designs looks like I’ll be selling my truck since I just put a deposit on a 2023 TRD Pro Sequoia. My plan is to move all my lights and “stuff” from the Tacoma over and I’ve got a couple months while I wait for the new truck to be built. I saw your 20” S8 grille kit online but is there a way to only get the brackets without the S8? And is that needed if I’ve got the Pro with a light there already?

Also know of any ditch light bracket manufacturers for the new Sequoia?

I can sell you the parts you will need to get the lights you have on the Sequoia. Go ahead and send me an email at brandonk@bajadesigns.com with the kits you are interested in and I will help you out.

When you say mod information are you referring to the Upgrade? The link to that information will be below.

One other question. I'll get amber when upgraded but would I be able to get a clear lens if wanted to try out?

Thanks again and will surely send lights in end of month.

So the light is not Uservicable so if you wanted to switch over to a clear lens you would have to send in the light for that swap.

How do we confirm if the lights are SAE or not?

The quickest way would be to look at the lenses, there should be an SAE stamping on it somewhere.

My fogs have the SAE lenses, but wanted to confirm the light internals are SAE before filling out the RMA form, removing and shipping

Those are SAE lights. They have the stamping as well as the 1st gen lens insert. You are good to go:thumbsup:

I just want to say "Thanks" to Baja Designs and especially Brandon. Couldn't be happier with my first light mod.
