Just bought 2003 Tacoma 4x4 Seats question

I swapped these over from my totaled 2002 Tacoma double cab limited:

 

and another for the seat jackers. checking in a 5foot 7inch above sea level and you dont need to be tall to feel the difference

Since you are in San Diego do you mind me seeing how your seat jackers feel ?

 

If you wanna go seat jackets I have an extra set I was going to list for sale. I had one of the pieces installed for fit check but never actually used. I’ll snap a pic if you’re interested.

Those are the ultimate seats I’ve been looking for….for over 10 years.

I have a pair of 3rd Gen T4R limited sport seats but am hoping to somehow be graced by the Tacoma gods to find a pair of 1st Gen Tacoma limited seats.

 

@Madjik_Man Brackets are by Planted out of Seattle. They were a 95% fit. Drill a hole here, machine a shim there and done.

I wanted black cloth for the seats but could only get the grey cloth. Colorwise it is close enough to the ubiquitous Tacoma grey. Too much sun here for vinyl or leather.

Waiting on warmer weather to redo my carpeting again and planning on Scheel-Mann seats while I’m at it. Worth a look if it’s in budget.

I went WRX seats, and I’m never going back. Best addition to the truck that I’ve done

 

What year did those come out of/what years will work? What did you have to do to make it fit?

 

Mine came from an 02. I was told a 00-04 would fit the best width wise.

I cut the ‘feet’ off of my oem seats, bolted them in place. Then cut the feet off the WRX seats. Placed the seat on top, lined it up and tacked it. Removed seats, finished welding and touching up with paint. Then bolted them back in.. it was a bit of a process but like I said, I friggin love them. I’d do this over my supercharger all over again if I had to.
