    Makes complete sense to me.

Let me know which side you cut, I'll cut the opposite side. To test the theory and finally put all these arguments to bed we can back up into each other at speed.

Would cutting the frame total the truck? Or mess with the structural integrity of the frame?! Might cause more critical damage to you or your truck if you get hit with that section of the frame gone…

Probably want to bend one side up and the other side down to cover being hit by a small car and a large truck.

Or better yet cut the back of the frame off and install hinges. Then it open up and down without any damage!

This is genius. So cut all the way through and then install a hinge between the 2 parts. This is why I love tacomaworld!!!

Rather than a cut in each side of the frame, I’ll suggest cutting out a section on each side, and welding in a coil spring. Your bumper and hitch will bounce back after being rear ended, and if you ever do tow a trailer, your truck can get a head start on the hills before you pull the trailer up. Kinda like a Bubba Rope.

I once saw a sign at a restaurant in the men’s restroom that read “We aim to please, so you aim too, please,” and that’s how I live my life.

Or you could remove hood & top of cab & and bungie string a tarp to your truck..NOW FINDING A TARP TO MATCH COLOR OF YOUR TRUCK MAY BE DIFFICULT...Wait wait hold up uhhh go to your local Walmart they should have many colors of Krylon paint im sure theres a color that will almost match your ride ....MOST DEFINITELY NO HAIL DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
