For whatever reason, I wanted some fresh air, and the fan speed switch does not respond at any speed on any setting (defrost, low or upper vent with AC on or off). Is there a fuse or relay? If so where might I find this important part?

    Thanks very much!

There are some fuses under the steering wheel behind the change holder and some more on the drivers side under the hood. I'm not sure where the fuse for the fan is but there should be a diagram at each fuse box.

Not likely the resistor as the resistor is bypassed for the High fan setting. I don't believe there are any fuses for this behind the coin tray. But there are heater fuses in the engine bay. The diagram is on the inside of the lid, but here's a pic anyway:

As it turned out, it was the blower itself. I was lucky enough to find one and have a freind send to me. The dealer here in Arkansas advised that there are issues with the blowers that are being made in Nam, and they are on national back-order. some have been waiting for 3 months for one. They are very easy to replace - about a 20 minute job.

    Appreciate you!

The 50amp looks good - how do you check a relay (other than just replace it?)
