I've built several of the twins on gm's website. I like everything about the Canyon except for the price. I can get a Colorado kitted out how I like it pretty comfortably though. The lack of a powered rear sliding window kills me though lol. I've made my peace with the lack of headlight switch... I'd probably go for the 430 lb-ft version since it's only a $300 upcharge, but even at 390 lb-ft I'd be happy.

I'm fortunate to be out of the market right now so I get to take it all in before I have to make a move.

I bet they could make the Pro competitive in regards to power, but I can't see myself paying as much for a midsize pickup pimped out that the Pro would command. Like you said, with the Pro going upmarket, I'm not going to be their target buyer.

Good for Toyota, bad for @Lt. Dangle I guess.

Carbon capture is an option once they can perfect it. Basically gasoline but a better option

So going through all these pages I have to feel that this is a bullshit thread.

Quit speculating get a life and wait till it comes out.

And unless they upgrade the 3. Crap
Then they will as always fall behind in comforts and displacement

I agree. Let’s discuss your grille lights instead! They sound fascinating.

The headlight switch is stupid, I’ve been trying to find physical photos to see if they ditched it but the only one online doesn’t show it yet. Canyons are pricey for sure, the AT4 I would buy is just over $50,000 MSRP which puts it $5,000 more than my Tacoma. Granted the GMC will come with more bells and whistles as you mention and 2” lift that the Toyota would have to be added. I figure you’ll be able to get a Canyon discounted in 6-12 months as well making the price easier to swallow.
