    The random orbital works good on flat areas, just have to watch the edges and corners. It can take off too much material pretty quick:anonymous:if thats not the look you are wanting it can mess stuff up...ask me how i know:annoyed::rofl:

    The regular orbital works better in direction of the grains, and keep it moving. And not as heavy down pressure. Kinda helps with reducing the circles. But i havent found much to eliminate them.


    Random orbital is nice though

    I have a DeWalt as well and it works good. The switch is a little wonky now but it still works. One of these I'll take it apart, give it a clean and see if that helps.
