    Nice vids and pics of the bumper clearance! I guess I'll need to get a Relentless bumper now. I'll use the money I'm saving by not getting an exhaust. After hearing how loud it is from inside your cab, I'll pass on the muffler. I've had my fair share of noisy exhausts in my time and my truck is my DD.

    So my gf caught me turning on my air-fan knob while I was supposed to be reaching for my 4 wheel drive. What ever happended to muscle memory??? haha

    Yup I took those spacers off and it dropped about 3/4". I'm happy with it. The uniball is looking much better and so are the CVs. I'm getting a lot of rubbing on the cab mount now so I need to chop that soon.

    so with the combo of the new leaf packs and the 3 degree shims, did you eliminate your driveshaft vibration or is there still a little bit? or did you get a driveshaft with a CV?

    I still have minor vibes with the shims. I only get the vibes when I let off the gas while cruising at 50+ mph. This is common for lifted reg cabs. I dont get vibes at any other time. I'll be reversing my rear driveline to hopefully eliminate the vibes completely.

    I've already done this (drive-shaft flip). The vibes are gone when in 2wd. However, I do have a split second vibe noise when 4wd is engaged and I let off the throttle and when I get back on the throttle at just about any speed, but it beats the hell out of hearing it when I'm in 2wd. And I'm in 2wd 99.9 percent of the time.

    I've never seen how much/bad these wear over time with use. I'd imagine that if a used pair was in good shape you would be ok. The red bushings would be one thing to look at for wear, but those could be replaced for pretty cheap. The uniballs may undergo corossion under extreme weather/use but those can be replaced also. If you can get a good pair for cheap, do it.

    Not to thread jack but to help answer the question. I agree with Erik. If you are able to find used them take a close look at the bushings and maybe even replace them. Same for the uni-balls. Both can be replaced for fairly cheap, but just look at your other options, and decide if you really want uni-ball vs ball-joint. That was a major decision for me and since I plan on wheeling my truck I figured I would go with the uni-ball and I am running new TC UCA's.

    i dont pan on doing much wheeling besides maybe the dunes and a little where i go ride with my friends. I read that the uni-balls arent really recommended for cold snowy winters. Where i live i never see snow but if i do go to the snow its never for over 3 days. So think it would be that big of a problem? I was loooking at these, what would you think?
    Ill for sure keep my eye out for some UCA on ebay or maybe craigslist! im thinking that if i do find a TC UCAs sued for 300? id probably get those and just replace all the bushings. ANd if i do have to replace the uniballs its be like a brand new UCA except the arm correct?

    Those LR UCAs are good. And the answer to your last question is yes.
