Maybe find a key-on wire going to the radio instead of tapping into the injector harness? Congrats on the pontoon boat! You taking the orange cat on a cruise?


I had zero success in getting the Taco muffler/tailpipe to work, nothing was even close enough to even attempt to start hacking it up. I ordered a muff/tailpipe that is supposed to be Bosal parts, which I've always had great luck with fitting up like factory parts. I will find out on Tuesday when it shows up.

 

@Taco1004 I dropped the spacers off at your Aunts place. She wasn't home but I did get to see your dog cousin looking at me through the slider.

 

Yea, injector fuse isn’t exactly the best per se… but I used the same fuse bus and amperage… so shouldn’t have any issues. And this way they run if truck is running. May play with it some more when I do the RIPP coils. Honestly, I was getting frustrated and just wanted them to work properly. Lol.

Thanks for the congrats! It’s been a few years in the making. Sold the last boat about 5 years ago and regretted it every Spring/Summer since. Def a day on the lake fishing for sure in the future. They rent pontoons up there too… Maybe a TW lake meet and day on the water?!?!

Sucks about the exhaust. Would it fit the Taco?

Morning all y’all! Not sure why the wife decided to wake the house up at 5am simply bc she was awake… but here we are!

 

My daughter came home from college for spring break yesterday. Today she let the dog out of her room at 5:15am and the dog quickly came to my bedside to let me know that there was an emergency. Her food bowl is empty. Crisis averted but here I am on Saturday morning....

I just realized that I put those spacers in the box that the Spidertrax came in. There is a little bottle of loc tite in the box. That was for the Spidertrax not the spacers I gave you. Make sure he doesn't use the loc tite.

 

I know @2ndhandTacoman was looking for a stock exhaust to try and mate up to his 4Runner. I gave him my OEM pipe but is was an unsuccessful pairing.

Deal on a crew cab 1st gen. Looks to be worth the drive to SC.

 

Cheap. Too cheap. Seems fishy.

 

My buddy Bob that lives in Parkville has a house up here on the mountain. A friend of his back in Baltimore was giving away this 1940's fridge because he's retiring to Florida. My buddy Bob got it for me and brought it up last night. I was told it's all original except for the cord and it still kept his beer ice cold. Still works and Made in the USA.

 

Wow that is a deal.

Speaking of which, I was at the Toyota dealership today buying a new CAI filter and I saw a new lunar rock 4Runner off road that was stickered at $43K MSRP. That also seemed like a deal to me given the color and model but maybe I’m wrong.

 

Alright. Pulled the trigger on some 265/75/16 Cooper AT3s. $855 mounted/balanced/TPSM service (purchased through my local military exchange). I think that is a pretty good deal. They will be installed on Tuesday. They are going on stock for now. I need to get the 5100s installed soon.
