Deal is subjective. That 4Runner MSRP’ed at probably $37-38k “pre-COVID.”

 

That’s true, I guess I’m still thinking in terms of covid prices. I’m used to them being outrageously priced. The sticker on my SR5 was $38K pre covid so I guess that would make that 4Runner less of a deal in perspective.

 

Nice! That’s a hell of a deal.

I recently saw a set of those in person for the first time on a Tundra and they looked killer. I think I might be buying 5100’s myself before the end of this year.

 

I just did a quick build online. TRDOR 4Runner starts at $44,500 MSRP with zero options. So maybe it is a deal after all lol

 

Hahah that’s funny. Yeah I guess it must be. I didn’t look at the year so maybe it was a leftover ‘22.

 

Prices are nuts. I thought I was crazy in 2021 buying new. But things have only gotten/getting worse.

 

Yeah I got really lucky buying right before all the stupid price stuff started with new cars. I wanted to buy a used Tacoma but they were all way more expensive than new ones when I was doing my search.

 

My buddy asked me if I needed some already cut firewood. I hooked up my splitter and my dog & I headed right over.

 

What dealership ? Might of been an SR5 RWD.

 

The Darcars 355 Toyota dealership. It had the TRD off road badges on it but it also had a little sticker that said “not for sale, fleet vehicle”.

 

They'll probably get more for it used.

I have given up finding a new Toyota truck at a price I'd be willing to pay in this region. I'm picky when it comes to what Toyota I'd buy which don't help. Good for them for making money.

 

Thanks I could never work a deal with 355. Maybe I’ll swing by there tomorrow and look at it. Would like to replace the wife’s 2018 4Runner.

I have the same tires on my truck. Great in the rain and snow. They do ride rougher than the stock Goodyears, but it is what it is. They need a couple thousand on them to kinda "break in". Sounds stupid, but I've had a couple sets of these. Plan on rotating them every 5K in an X pattern or they will wear funny.

Be aware the siping does not go all the way through the tread, so at probably 40%-50% tread traction will suffer greatly and you'll be shopping tires again.

 

Decided it’s too cold to take off the octo-cam and treat/spray paint today. Tuesday will be a good day for it if I can get off work early.
