Popular 265/70/17 SL with factory suspension. Simply changed the tires.

I decided the Pinza AT fit my needs. I didn’t see a lot online as these are a fairly new design and it doesn’t seem Vredestein has been as popular in the states as overseas. So I wanted to put out some more for those looking in the future. My tire guy nearby uses these as well, he’s got a few more miles on his and loves em.

    Pros:
    Almost zero noise
    No noticeable change in steering
Price ~200-400$ cheaper than Falken, Toyo, BFG
    Warranty 70k miles

    Cons:
Slightly less impact absorption over OEM

Would I have like a more aggressive looking tire? Sure, but it would have been superficial and at the end of the day a waste. I drive 90%+ on the highway and just wanted something for when I pull through non paved areas with the teardrop.

They may not be the MOST appealing but I would wager for the majority they are the most practical AT.

I’ll keep this updated as I add miles.

*These are SLIGHTLY more aggressive in person than the photos I’ve seen. It’s a comment I saw multiple times in reviews and I’ll confirm that. It’s not a KO2 but the photos make it look more like a radial tire than it is.

hmmm, I'll wait for more years of feedback to come in, I don't skimp on tires, and they sound like yet another price fighter brand.

I totally understand y’all’s hesitation. I took a chance on em and simply wanted to put information out there.

I tend to conform to the thinking that with todays technology, bad tires rarely exist and given the reviews online and my local guy’s experience I was willing to take a chance on a tire that truly fit my application.

If it turns out to be complete poo I’ll spread that word as well. For the price and what if claimed I decided to give it a chance.

Why, because you're getting honest answers? if that's an issue, or you can't handle bluntness, then yeah, leave now and forever hold your peace but it's like the dude who put uniroyals on a brand new tacoma and even replaced 3 brand new tires due to vibration and the 3 new ones did too and the 4th started too as well...my buddy at the shop, after replacing those 3 and not being able to get them to balance, told him either buy good tires or don't come back anymore. don't skimp on safety, and you can just research this yourself, how do those tires rate? have you even looked?

You asked, you got answers, feewings are pointless, facts matter *shrug

You want the best for street use go with defender t-h's, best wet traction and great dry traction, very good treat life too. I use them on every vehicle I drive.

cheap isn't good for tires, expensive isn't either (just because it's on show cars or movie cars doesn't mean jack either) but cheap is always bad, ALWAYS.

For ice/snow or off road I have no advice, I rarely go off road and have snow literally 2-3 days a year at most. I also have a 4x4 but don't use it hardly at all, the defender t-h's handle 2wd off roading with SLIGHT mud, nothing crazy though, but not off road tires, those go "WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH" or "GRRRRRRRRR" at highway speeds and don't do well for fuel economy. I drive 99.999% highway

plenty of websites give reviews of tires, even discount tire and tirerack do, but always search a few sites. but if you don't want facts, why bother asking

His post read like ad copy to me, but maybe he’s just really into this tire brand.

I’ve heard from quite a few folks that these “off brand” tires work just as good. Maybe it’s true but personally I just have no trust in them.

I had Vredstein snows on a 94 Celica. They lasted 60K with great traction the entire time AND ran the last 20K year round in SCarolina. They were excellent. Likely from Europe before the brand was purchased.

Looks like a good amount of siping for winter/wet weather and the tread seems it would have more capability than stock Wranglers. I wouldn't compare them to Wildpeaks or other tires of that sort that are intended to deal with offroad and very harsh weather though as the tread looks shallower and doesn't have other features for handling more advanced snow conditions
