I appreciate how it's subtle and functional, instead of being obnoxiously flashy.

 

I did most of the same mods and miss my stock truck. Most mods make it worse.

You're not wrong, especially on road.
Offroad is a different story.
The more you mod, the more problems you tend to have. There is no doubt about that.
This truck has spent ALOT of time with my mechanic.

 

Love it when the things are modded beyond the point of no return. Tasty part outs

 

Thanks... it got a little out of hand and unnecessary, but at least it works really really well.

 

Now that's an 808 truck that doesn't make me giggle. Just spent ten days over there and saw plenty to laugh at. Yours is not one of them. Nicely done!!

 

HAHA... We love our lifted trucks out here.

The Toyota Tacoma, on my island, outsell all other trucks combined! That is trucks from every other manufacture and including Tundra's.
Where I live the Toyota Tacoma is king.
The dealership currently has over 600 people on the waiting list for Tacoma's, that is just in my town, doesn't count the dealer on the other side of the island.
I know a guy who waited 13mo's to get his recently.

Alot of guys like to put the cheapest lift they can find like a 6" rough country to get it as high as possible as cheaply as possible, then splash out on some expensive super wide 22" rims, and run them on low pro 35's. The like the stretched look where the rim is basically sticking out from the tire. And the whole thing is so far out of the wheel well it might as well be an open wheeled vehicle. Road cruisers... I've never seen one like that offroad, at least not where I go.

He drives it hard, and with a lift this big, I'm sure he breaks stuff.
He also does all his own work.
I built my truck to drive, and have stuff not break.
I will say though, he at least wheels his truck, unlike the above-mentioned guys.
