So my little girl decided to spit out her gum into the cloth part of the door cards by the handle and try to hide/clean up her mess before i see it by wiping it with her hands, so long story short its all over the interior back passenger side of my truck:(. It was easy to clean the one in the plastic part but the cloth parts its kinda hard to "take off". any ideas? I know our interiors gets dirty just by looking at them, but man.....this sucks.

they make a product that you can spray on the gum and actually freeze it then chip it off. not sure what its called but the janitorial crew at work uses it.

OP You can do this same concept by turning a can of Dust-Off or any air dusting product upside down. The liquid will freeze anything

that cloth is pretty thin...not sure id be comfortable pulling up on it in order to remove the gum, i have a nagging suspicion it will rip.

I had this happen on my last truck. I read about this and tried it successfully. I put some ice in a bag and pressed it onto the gum/seat for a few minutes, then took a plastic chisel/spatula-thing and carefully scraped on the gum and off it came. I started slowly as I was concerned about going through the seat material, never was a problem though.

I used a product called Goof Off that I purchased from Home Depot. It worked like a charm on gum.
