I am thoroughly annoyed to find out the freaking parking brake switch is a ground signal that goes to the Display and Navigation unit then it is communicated via CANL and CANH wires from the Display and Navigation unit to the Gauge Cluster. Looks like I will have to wire up a Parking brake notification light since I am not using the Navigation screen.

Started wiring up the dash, I relocated the junction box by simply taping it into the harness.

I'm thinking the Parking Brake signal comes from the Body ECU as the Nav doesn't show up on the Combination Meter wiring diagram but the Body ECU does with the Park Brake Signal going to it.
Why aren't you using the factory Nav/Radio?

Good point. I hope that is the case, some of these diagrams do have conflicting information and I am hoping you are right. Theres just no way you are going fit them and make it look nice in the tacoma dash.

I mean the park brake signal does go to the nav/radio too but that's more likely for lockout of certain features unles the brake is set, I don't think it's the gateway for the park brake signal.
Other modules are likely to set U codes if it's not present on the network however.

That makes sense, I think reading diagrams at 12am had something to do with it. The U codes will definitely be there, I just hope there won't be any notifications on the center screen about it.

Okay here is how I got the vents to clear the junction boxes. I also started clamping down the main loom to the crash bar.

The amount of work you’ve done is incredible.
Good job. I am just as interested in the “How” as I am the “Finished Product”.
This has been fun thread to follow.

I need to get better at cutting brackets off. I mean I get them off alright, but usually not very re-usable after.

I can’t remember if it was posted but did you have closeups of the engine mounts and transmission crossmembers you relocated?

I cut the mounts off the gx frame. I have not yet relocated the crossmember because I need to put in the tranny first, then I can locate where the crossmember needs to be.

Have you looked into installing a Joying unit? There might be a way to get it to get it to display some of the Lexus bits and pieces if you get the OBDII connection dingle.

I don't need to display any OB2 information from the lexus, all I need is climate control. There is nothing on the market that would make gx460 climate controls work with an aftermarket head unit. Beside I like oem analog switches on the tacoma. Lastly I already bought a nice pioneer head unit.

Okay guys, Saturday update! I worked on clearing all wiring harness from the dash. Additionally I relocated the junction box behind the cluster for a third time. I had to relocate it because the center vent that is mounted on the dash was interfering with the junction box harness about 1/4 inch. I installed the secondary dash wiring harness which hooks up behind the cluster and powers the stereo. It also has all the speaker wires that run to the amp under the front passenger seat. I had to clearance the dash a bit by the cluster. And I still need to fasten the harness sections that are vertical on the dash. I threw the cluster in there to check if it clears, it looks so sick!
