    Hi,

Looking for some ideas. I installed a start x remote start on my 23 Sr. Everything is working except now my tpms flash's upon startup and will switch to solid. I've tried disconnecting the batteries, checked connections, and did a continuity test of the tpms interrupt which seemed to be okay. Looking for some help on this one.

    Thanks

    Aaron

Double check your connections again at the TPMS wires and also ensure the connector is fully plugged into the remote start module.
If you didn't know, here is how the TPMS interrupt works:
99% of the time your TPMS wire stays connected by running through a closed contact in the remote starter. Everything should function as normal.
Only when remote started, it will open the TPMS contact to disable the TPMS system. This is for vehicles with keyless entry... If TPMS is not disabled, keyless entry will not function.
    Good luck.

So far…. Added fog lights swapped halogens to led’s, interior lights to led’s, bed lights added, led/strobe brake lights, trying to figure out the right leds for turn signals.
Following as I just ordered this kit

Is your 23 push-to-start? If so it should be one plug at the passenger side DCM. It will be considerably easier than the key-start version... And no TPMS tapping.

Yeah, I know your truck is key. I wasn't sure about the other guy's trail edition.

So after you remote crank it, put the key in turn forward then touch the brake pedal the light stays on?

Do you have a scanner where you can erase the error code?

So, I installed my remote start kit. It took less than an hour. It takes a little to get the hang of starting it, but it will turn it on and turn it off.

You'll get the fob timing figured out pretty quick. Saying a letter between each push might make it more predictable... [push] "A" [push] "A" [push].
If you need to start it from a distance, the ASCL6 module makes it really nice using the carlink app. The cell service is free for the first year, then $99 for 3 years. App gives run confirm and also shows remaining minutes. Also adds gps location. It's an easy add-on to the StartX.
