Good to know. I was spraying it with the fluid film gun at the time. I bought another kellsport spray gun and that thing is 10x better. Sprays fluid film like it's nothing even when it's 36° out

 

I'm planning to buy their new gun. All metal, including canister with a quick disconnect fir the hose. Probably going to use both guns. All metal fir the hose and the other fir overall spray.

 

Done in 1/2 the time

Veg oil sounds good. Anything that dles t destroy the environment when we splash through puddles is good in my book.

I like the clear because you can see it. I'm not doing the spraying but black on black it's "oh did I do that cross member I can't remember". Clear is nice because it shows. I like wrenching with it because it's not dyed but that's not a deal breaker for me.

I have both the Kellsport black gun, and thier new pressurized metal one, and while the new stainless one is nice for the wands (makes going into body panels/rockers panels/small holes on the frame super easy), the black "pro" gun is better for general spraying of underbody and frames. The biggest gripe I have with thier new style one is it takes a few seconds for WoolWax to spray out the nozzle, but it is by design, as the gun pressurize the metal canister to spray out the product you have in it.

Pretty much what I planned on doing. Think I'll make use of the straight shot hose too.

 

What is your thought on the sprayer that pulls straight from the 5 gallon bucket? I might grab one of those for the clear version and keep my current setup bottles for the black.

 

I had watched a video on it. I feel like without a lift it's too difficult or annoying dragging it around to be near the bucket

I do however they're at my buddies shop waiting for welding then for install. The original ones on my truck I believe are bent/damaged hence needing to replace them.

 

@Brownmatthall my cousin did my spindle gussets and I'm sure would do yours if you have any interest. He's located in Whitman/you'd have to bring them to him. I did mines in a weekend fwiw... uninstalled on saturday, welded/painted/installed on a sunday. I went with total chaos.
