Feel bad for my sister, they have a newborn ~3wks old and she and her husband just both got Covid pretty bad

That's awful, hope they have some help or at least don't have a strong reaction to COVID. Can't imagine being 3wk infant tired and then being run down from a virus too.

An acquaintance is on their 4th(?) French Bulldog since I've known them. Every single one has had some major genetic defect from inbreeding and died painfully. I don't get it

 

So far just like a really bad cold I guess, nothing too crazy. But she can't nurse for nearly a month now, right at the time when it's considered most important to do so which sucks, I don't really see how they are supposed to avoid giving it to the baby anyway but I guess the doctor is adamant about no nursing with Covid

 

My aunt and uncle always get Boston Terriers, and they're sweet dogs but they live way shorter than a small breed should and they always sound under duress. Like they snore while just sitting awake and idle.

 

Yeah for real, and we live close by but with all the shit we've been through with Sofia lately the last thing we need is Covid so we have to stay away too

 

That formula stuff is insane now. But I'm with you, like how do you expect not to give it to the child, one that at this point has the immune system of a toaster strudel.

 

I actually have a new valence for it, and a couple of mounting parts… but I’ll keep that in mind. Debating if I want to get creative here
