They were selectively bread to not be able to breath for one thing. I feel bad for them since we made them that way.

We have a hard time with Sofia at this age with being gentle enough, even with a big chill dog like Dex he will and has started to lose his cool with her. Only snapped at her once when she tried pulling on him by his head and it was just a warning nip. Always trying to reinforce with her that all creatures have their limits and to respect those

Harley is an old man now too and I worry she's going to hurt him sometimes when I'm not looking, not on purpose but she just has a hard time controlling herself when she gets all excited like most toddlers do.

How do you think Biscuit will do with him?

Yeah, kids (especially at that age) can easily be over stimulated.

You know, I'm not worried about that at all with Biscuit really. She's a real "curious" type and has to be in everyone's business and I expect her to be really curious when Theo's around.

I leave her unattended a lot and every single one of Theo's toys and items laid about have all remain untouched. So she knows boundaries, she knows what isn't for her, and I know she'll get accustomed to him real quick. And if he man handles her like Sofia man handles Dex lol well she's quick to just run away the same way she does with Bronx.

For the most part lol. He does get annoyed with her esp if I'm not around. She sees me rough house with him in the backyard sometimes and he loves it, but if she does the same you can tell he doesn't really like it. Kid energy is just different and I think it's more off-putting to most animals until the kids get older

No but really there isn't one.

It's just your chain of command. I mean I guess one could request to see a chaplain or something, but it never got to that point with anyone cause even just seeing anyone else would catch you a lot of flak (and probably an ass beating depending who you were or why you were doing so).

In the Corps, especially Infantry, chain of command means Everything. But at the same time, that's also why it is so hard to move up because you must absolutely perform above all your peers both physically and academically as well as exhibit leadership traits.

You'll hear the phrase "terminal lance" a lot in the infantry and that's because all first termers get out as an E3 (rank).

Just a small handful actually make it up to E4 which is a non-commissioned officer; have to earn it.
