Better get used to it. March and April are Denver's leading snowfall months.

Not to mention the 50/50 Mothersday snowfall in May

Not Warfab made or made for Warfab by AJK. That’s a cheaper copy.

The Skid Mark has the 1-1/4” pass through which is cool.

Lol it was me. But now my nice 9” housing gets to sit and collect dust in the garage instead of getting built and me chopping the back half off of my truck. Unfortunately the new motor for the dd/tow pig is costing me all my fun money

I guess I’m keeping the truck for now. The RAV4 Prime is likely totaled from another rav4 running a light, hitting a Hyundai and then me, pushing us straight into a concrete wall.

    12C57A56-B5FD-4C02-B1CB-838D236FBFE1.jpg

Fun fact: It is no longer faster than a supercharged 2nd gen due to the modern ECU recommending I visit a dealer “HYBRID SYSTEM MALFUNCTION” and it will not function.

Dude, you are not having a good week.
I hope you and all your passengers are OK. Sounds like you got out of not so great car situation?

I’m ok. It’s been a few hours now and neck, back and knee are getting tighter and more sore. Fortunately, no passengers, just bike in the back that wasn’t damaged.

It was a great car situation, which is even more of a bummer. Paid in cash, owned, over the 2400 miles so far, 65.4mpg. Comfortable, functional wireless CarPlay, heated seats and steering wheel… basically a blast to drive with it being a Prime and “302 combined” horsepower.

Looking through the salvage auctions, a dozen similar primes with front end damage like this and also no airbags deployed have been totaled, so I’m pretty confident I’m not seeing this ever again. And a replacement is not even available with 2-3 year waiting lists.

Now I get to deal with the at fault drivers insurance trying to get out of paying the $65k market value of the RAV4.

Yeah, I’m giving it another few hours to be able to identify any injuries before taking some Tylenol/ibuprofen. It’s not too bad, just getting stiff.

All humans involved seemed ok and denied a free ride to the hospital from the paramedics. Glad it wasn’t you! That’d be a terrible way to meet you in person to thank you for those mudflaps that went on my dads truck.

    Glad you're okay!

I always recommend people go see their primary care doctors after a car accident. A lot of times, injuries/whiplash/whathaveyou won't completely present itself for days after an accident. Easier to get injuries annotated right after an accident, to insurance, as well.

Yeah, I'm waiting until Monday to call and get an appointment as things continue to appear (which I was expecting, which is why I waited 7 hours after the accident to start taking any tylenon/ibuprofen.).

PRO TIP: Even if you ask the officer if the other drivers contact info and insurance will be on the police report, GET IT NOW. I can't get the police report for several weeks until the investigation has been completed. I had to make several phone calls to get some unofficial info from the district in order to find the drivers info and call their insurance company.

It's too bad Santiago's isn't open. You could try a generous amount of green chili
