Nilla loves when we do laundry and set the warm clothes on the chair before folding them. Last night was a special treat with a nice warm comforter.

was this some sort of accident that necessitated the surgery? Or just plain old age ?

 

He's 6yo golden/shepherd...tore the dog equivalent of ACL and MCL. IMO its from chronic overuse, being a farm/protection dog he never sits still.

It's been 48hrs and he wants to be back out there LOL no movement for 8 weeks minimum

I work with a Collie rescue organization in the Washington DC area. Today I made a 4-hour drive into the hills of West Virginia to pick up these two rascals. I took them back to a veterinarian's office in northern Virginia where they will get a health checkup, a bath and get "fixed." Then they will be put up for adoption.

That's Nova on the left; she's the skittish one. Blaze is on the right. On the trip to the pick-up location, he had an accident in his crate and decided to wallow in it so he is covered with the Brown Stuff.

My truck bed will get a good hosing out tomorrow.

 

Today Santino got a bath which he looks like he's not to happy about. Tomorrow is his 13th birthday, steak is on the menu.

 

How does this mean comfort? He sleeps so weird.
