Well got the truck aligned friday night and they adjusted my SPC UCA all the way in to get my alignment close as they could which I have never had them adjusted in at all and now my tires are rubbing the UCA. I don't know if the new shocks are to tall or what but I am going to get a second option tomorrow if I can. I have about had it with these front shocks and I'm about to throw my old Nitro chargers back in and call it good. O and I think I now also have drive line vibe going on too. Hard to tell right now but now there is one more thing to deal with.

If I have to much preload on the shocks can I adjust that and bring it down some and make it better to align? I'm not great with suspension geometry.

Finished my baby lift! Eibach pro truck struts at 1.6” front, 1.5-2” aal rear. Long story short, the strut mount stud and nut closest to the engine bay had to be cut with a hand saw, ball joint had to be cut off, one UCA replaced, center pin and u bolts cut down, CV axles removed from hubs (sway bar bolts stripped so I couldn’t remove). Conservatively 25-35 hours into it from Wednesday thru Sunday morning. Next up is taking it in for an alignment. Already have new cam bolts as they’ll have to cut off the old ones.

    Here’s a before and after.

Thanks man! It was time for a wash! Hopefully no more snow this year but no guarantees. Lot of rusted nuts and bolts but the frame is SOLID and body is great for a 2012

This has been listed on my local CL a couple of times recently. Think he started out asking $12,500 and now asking $11,500. It is a 4 banger automatic with 90k miles and dual exhaust. I like the mini Sport conversion with the hood, grille and rear bumper. I just dumped a bunch of money in a high yield cd so not willing to pull money out of my savings just yet. I will certainly consider it if it drops much more in price. I had a 2000 similar white reg cab PreRunner that I loved. That one had the die hard 2.7 auto and was trouble free through 225k miles (sold at 160k, friend sold at 225k).

Installed my front Bilstein B8 6112 front coilover replacements! I also replaced the Sway Bar Bushings & End Links.

Unfortunately, the oil seal cap on one of the older shocks popped off - fingers crossed that Bilstein Warranty pulls through.

That's a good looking truck where did you get those sway bar end links from? And as far as I know bilstein is really great about their warranty.

Thanks - it's been a slow but gradual process! As for the Sway Bar End Links, I got them from Autozone for about $20 - $25 a piece. Thankfully both the driver & passenger side were in stock.

I've heard good things from Bilstein's warranty department. Now it's just a waiting game.

I need to replace my end links being mine is an 06 and is well overdue as well as inner and outer tie rods need to be replaced as well. I'll contact my local auto zone and see if they have them in stock as well.

That looks like a $90 msrp hose that most dealers sell for around $62. Finding one with cheap shipping is the key. Maybe a local dealer will price match it if you print the price from another dealer. I have saved money that way in my area. Cheapest I found to SoCal is $59 plus $6 shipping at https://www.cheapestfactoryparts.com/cart

I am fan of Ammo NYC products so I sprayed it with an all purpose cleaner and a little of Ammo's Brute wheel spray - https://ammonyc.com/collections/exterior/products/ammo-plum-wheel-cleaner

Then I used their wheel soap, which can really be used anywhere other than paint - https://ammonyc.com/collections/exterior/products/ammo-brute-wheel-soap

Agitate it with a soft bristle brush and a wash mitt, starting from the top and work your way down. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there on how to properly clean your engine because you want to make sure you cover your battery.

I have to say, one of my favorite things is to use my truck for its intended use in the dirt, and then detail it so it looks like new.

Nope, Napa premiums with lifetime warranty. I had the intentions of saving the factory ones and buying the rebuild kits, They lasted 302K and I only replaced them because the boots were tore. However the threads on them were shot, I think the previous owner beat them with a sledge trying to get them out to replace the wheel bearings  Had to uga duga them all the way off.
