I had the A1 bug ever since I've seen this picture. Pick up an A1 receiver and Colt barrel. The rest of the parts are coming tomorrow.

Had to, will take place of the upper on my S&W M&P15 Magpul MOE.

 

Nice! I've always thought about getting one because I'm sure it'd be fun as hell but have never actually pulled the trigger cause I could see the novelty wearing off too.

It's the ideal my buddy owns one I get to play with accessory... then again I'm typically said buddy that buys those things

That's good to see. I submitted my "amnesty" Form 1 on 01/30. Hopefully those are being processed along the same timeline.

 

I have some 80% form 1s in "pending research" for nearly 2 weeks. I've never a previous pending research take more than 48 hours. Now that you are required to upload photos, I'm not sure why it should take more than 5 minutes. In the old days they would just send an email and have me confirm i made them myself....

 

Mine is still listed under "Submitted".

 

Should say "Submitted/in process".

If you got a cover sheet, you're good.

One thing I find interesting about the approval (from a professional perspective, not firearm related). They have a wet (pen) signature, but a typed date. As someone that has worked in the biologics industry for nearly 30 years, I can say there isn’t a regulatory body that wouldn’t throw an absolute shit-fit over that. If they are pasting in a scanned signature, the document has to indicate it is digitally signed.

 

I also wonder how they can legally give you a PDF of a tax stamp..... It's like an NFT ????
