I think trailering the bike to something like The GA traverse and riding it around there would be fun. Load it back up when ready to go home. Have a backpacking tent or something like that minimalist lol.

I'm trying to plan a trip like that with my buddy here that bought the same bike and another buddy Bill @Hafaday in VA. I figure we could camp at Jack River Fields and do the 70 mile Big Frog Loop. The only thing I really need for a trip like that is a pair of boots and a hitch carrier

Wish i was into bikes and id do it with ya but i honestly never see myself using the bike enough to justify the cost.

 

Same here , the way I work I don't have hardly anytime to do much of anything but work.

 

Give it a few months. I guarantee that people will get the XR150L thinking/wanting them to be more than what they are.....they'll be cheap as hell on the used market. It's a very niche bike. Most people that are going mini motos will want the grom/navi/monkey/ct125.

 

I'm thinking about it, looks pretty fun. Have y'all done it before?

Nope, it will be our first time. Some friends talked us into it. We ran 6 miles yesterday and it kicked my ass!

 

Is it like one of those toughman obstacle courses? Ones where you have to run through mud, crawl under those rope things, over walls, etc?

 

It sure is. 10k obstacle course run. Rope climb, cargo net climb, hill sprints, low crawl through mud, creek crossings, etc. and 10k worth of running.
