Running the same. “Solid” as the name states. A little vibes at standstill but not much

What about transmission mounts? Are solid ones preferred?

As long as you don’t solid mount the trans before the engine…

    Fellas,
Looking for input on diagnosing a driveline clunk/bind.
Initially thought it was a broken gear tooth in the rear diff. Drained and inspected, nothing alarming. Attempts to capture the sound with video is not adequate, exhaust is too loud. I rolled back and forth in the driveway, shifting from 2H-->4H-->4L no issue. Does not want to engage the elocker. Assume it's just being a bitch on the pavement. I can hear it click but indicator continues to blink. Can't picture how that could all the sudden create the issue. Have not engaged the locker in a few months.
I'm about to pull the driveshaft to isolate the front and rear.
Feels like it is beneath and behind me.
    Started thread here-
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trouble-with-my-rear.795815/

    Any input would be appreciated.

I would say so. Solid on all 3 points has been nice for me.

You get a poly carrier bearing, too?

Anyone grenade a pinion gear before? 4.56 gears, running my 34" winter tires. I think I'm overgeared even with my 35s when on the interstate, but the torque is nice for daily driving. Not sure if that is an aid or an amplifier for the issue.
I had given it the beans the day before, had the music blasting, thought I just had a bit of grind. Which I thought was weird since I have hardly had any grinding since I switched from Amsoil to Redline in the trans.
Tried to rule everything out before pulling the diff.

Depends of your auto or manual bit of 4.56 is a nice spot for 35’s. I loved it more when I had 285’s but was a bit more than needed. What are you looking for on blown rears? I just replaced mine with 4.56 for the 2nd time. But there are a lot of factors. Weight of truck, tire size, supercharger spirited driving, combo of all or some of the reasons.

No - since mine is miraculously holding together quite well. But the plan is to go to a one-piece anyways.
