    @Dream Weaver

    What did you do to your suspension? lol

    Well, you've had your 2018 for a while and I'm sure the suspension is different than what's on mine.

    I'm almost at 19K miles and my Sport will be 2 years old in May.

    eh it’s honestly just adding more weight to the bed, wanting different ride quality, and getting a little more clearance for hitting trails. i don’t really want to rock crawl or anything super crazy, but the stock suspension just feels… not right for the way i want it. not looking for anything more than 2.5, and not looking to put 35’s on it, just building it for camping in remote locations locally, and i feel like the stock suspension with the stuff i have on it/ want to add in the future isn’t dialed in for it

    I think I’ll be near Dover on Thursday afternoon with my truck (hopefully) if you’re near there. I can’t remember where you said you were.
    I’ve got the Ironman Foam cell pro kit on my truck. I also have several other things that impact the ride too, like E rated tires, front and rear bump stops and upgraded hammer hangers. I can drive you around and you can see how it feels.

    They’re always on sale. But, don’t let that fool you. It really has been a quality kit, if just a little stiff with E rated tires.
    If I get my truck alignment done on Tuesday I’ll be taking it to the Dover area and can meet you somewhere on the way depending on the time. I’ve got an event at Del State I need to be there from 530-730/8PM. I let you know if I’ll have it.

    That's cool.

    About the only heavy load I want to put on the bed is the Diamondback SE.

    Price went up...last time I checked it was in the $1700s...now, it's $1849.

    I'm guessing the DB/SE Tonneau cover weighs about 135lbs.

    G'morning Delaware!

    It's a short week for me...woohoo!

    I have PTO for this Friday so we can check-in at Bed/Breakfast at the Beach--wife and I celebrate 33 years.

    Also, got appointment for window tinting/AVS window guard install this Wednesday.

    Have a great week Delaware.

    with the bed rack being ~100, and the tent being ~2-250 being the heaviest things, i’d say ~400 with gear. these are of course guestimations since i don’t have the actual weights on hand. with some digging i might be able to find that out, however

    seems it’s a bit heavier than the numbers say it is haha! 86 for the rack and 170 for the tent

    The best bang for your buck would be bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners with 887 coils. For leaf springs you could either run deaver expedition stage 1 or ome dakar leaf springs. If you want to save some coin on leafs you could always just do an add a leaf although ill always recommend an entire new leaf pack over an add a leaf.

    yea i’ve heard the 5100’s are the best bang for the buck eveywhere, they’re non rebuildable but i suppose by the time they leak i’d have gotten my fair use out of them and a good idea as to what i really want if i end up dumping more money into suspension. also, i’ve heard the dakars are squeaky? is that true?

    When I ran Dakars they never squeaked. I have heard complaints from others that they do. Nothing a little lube wouldn't fix though.

    @SH7mi

    Thanks for the compliment. I went to England to get a Scottish wife!

    Well, yesterday I called Occ Health to let them know I was at a St Patrick's Day get-together that resulted in some people catching Covid.

    I had a slight runny nose and itchy cough. But because I was near people who tested positive, I got tested.

    Results came in and Dang! I'm friggin' positive.

    I anticipate feeling better by Friday.

    Drinking plenty of water and walking around the house. (Got throat lozenges & DayQuil too)

    Also, watching "The Peripheral" on Prime.

    hope you feel better my man! my girlfriend just tested positive as well, but as for now i’m negative. got the hell out of the house and went to my parents and isolating there just in case. sucks because now i’m an hour away from work as opposed to the 10 min commute i make usually

    @Dream Weaver

    Wife just goes to one of our daughter’s room and sleeps on her bed for our isolation!

    Their rooms are always ready for their visit.

    Since this is my second time around with Covid, the symptoms aren’t as bad.

    Runny nose, occasional sneeze/cough and dry eyes.

    I’m hydrating.

    Im glad my immune system is doing its job. My eldest daughter keeps telling me I need to take better care of myself and what I put in my body. So glad she cares enough to say this to me. :)

    Good morning Delaware!

    Well, wife just did home Covid test and is now positive.

    That sucks but it looks like we will be cancelling our Anniversary getaway at the beach this weekend.

    At least we will be home together. :)
