I understand how the work, but unlike the HID ones, don't draw enough current to warrant a hole new harness.

Had the DRLs, but just cut the wire to disable them.

I did too but that won't effect it's circuit. I'll try to remember to pop the hood and see what I did for the wiring. I used some sort of headlight adapter that I can't remember where I found it. Modified it to work. But it should allow you to run a second light source using your brights switch. Again might not be what you are looking for.

Shortly after I bought my '97, the original fuel pump failed because the fuel filter was so packed full of crud (no rust in the tank), it couldn't push fuel through it anymore. I wish I would have taken a picture of what I blew out of it with shop air. It was crazy. That was 220k miles on what looked to be the original fuel filter. Results will definitely vary on this for sure, depending on what gets into your tank, but I just thought I would add that.

You need to keep both the low and high wire active when you engage the high beams.

When you engage the headlights, it grounds the low beam filament. When you engage the high beams, it removes the ground from the low and adds a ground to the high beam filament.

You can add a diode, something like this https://amzn.to/3TrNh9E
that goes between the high beam and low beam wires. I did this on my wife’s car when I installed OEM halogen projectors so I didn’t have to do any new wiring.

I would have never thought to use a diode on it. That's genius.

@Squeaky Penguin Make sure to put the banded end on the low beam ground to have the desired effect.

What are you having done? I've been toying with the idea of getting a limited slip installed on my prerunner.

I've been getting shitty mileage lately too.

And my fuel filter has over 380,000 miles :anonymous:... Maybe I should replace mine lol.

Could be the fuel filter... could also be they are upping the ethanol in the gas. (Like putting air in a potato chip bag to make you think you're getting more chips)

Regardless... I've had a fuel filter in my Amazon cart for about 2 years... maybe it's time I ordered it

I actually gave some thought to how I cut the plywood, wanting to match the grain horizontally.

Welp, some jack wagon blew a red light and smashed my bed side. Thankfully didn't get into the cab.
So whats the word on fiberglass for first gens these days? Is Advanced Fiberglass the way to go? Id probably do bedsides and front fenders to match. Any fitment issues? On there website they list fitting 95-04, I thought the corner marker lights where different between the 95-00 and 01-04?F3E64FF1-193A-48F7-86D7-67E05BF3B3BA.jpg
