Finally got around to tackling a bunch of small projects this weekend. Wired up the LED bar in my bumper with an OEM-style switch, added an extension cable for my winch and made an aluminum bracket to mount it on. Not exactly what I had in mind but it was the best spot it would reach where I wouldn't have to drill any new holes and could still close the hood with it plugged in.
    Screenshot_20230318-174958_Gallery.jpg

Also got mounting sorted out for a bunch of stuff on the Prinsu rack. 2 gear cases on the cab (bolted on), traction boards on the topper just using the tie-down loops and a couple rubber straps, and brackets/clamps on either side of them for an axe and shovel. It'll all be coming back off shortly, mostly wanted to just make sure I had it all ready to go for spring when I can actually put it to use.

I did find a cheaper set on Amazon, but my local Autozone just happen to have both the Sway Bar Bushing & End Links in stock.

I went with the Autozone brand and the construction and durability is very much OEM. I'm just glad that I got rid of that knocking sound during sharp turns on inclines.

Installed the DDI seat jackers. Haven’t driven anywhere yet but off the bat they do seem to make the seating position much more comfortable. Obviously a little less room for my legs to slide under the steering wheel when getting in/out so that’s probably the only thing I’ll need to get used to.

On a side note, does olathe Toyota ever have deals on wheels? Looking at a set of bronze TRD pro sema wheels…. They have the best price so far that I could find at $225/each but wondering if I could get them even cheaper if I wait for like a sale.

Washed it Thursday, drove from LA to Palm Springs for my wife's boss's party. Noticed my rear passenger tire had a nail in it and never put my spare back in the truck after putting the lift on. Luckily it held the air in all the way home, hoping it stays that way until the weekend when I have time to take to a tire shop and have it plugged if it needs it...if not, remove it and send it. Oh the truck is dirty again. smh.

It's pretty easy to throw a plug in there should be able to get a plug kit from a local auto shop for pretty cheap just make sure you cut the plug pretty good I had one rip out on a trailer I did awhile back and the tire ended up having a little blow out

I'll make sure to pick two up from autozone and keep in the truck. I've putting off having a repair kit and emergency kit in the truck at all times.

I'm considering this bumper myself right now. Any concerns or issues now that you have had it on for a week?

    Working on it!
I’ve done this a couple times to my 2005. I finally got some updated projector heads with LED eyelids. But I’m having some electrical issue with them. They cycle too fast. Probably just going to return them on eBay! My first mistake was not getting on here first and looking for reliable ones. But they look awesome‍♂️

I got some really good headlights from pro tuning lab.com and they have multiple choices of headlights and best for the bang for the buck and they are quality. I made a mistake getting a set from Amazon and they crapped out on me and the clear came off of them in 6 months

Build quality is decent given the price and it seems pretty sturdy. I like it so far, only a couple aspects I'd really change. The bull bar/hoop is bolted on, would be nice if it were welded and I think maybe the older versions were. Only other complaint is that it seems to hang a little lower than similarly-styled ones from a couple other companies. That's it though. Installation took a while but wasn't too tough, fitment is good, and I really like the look.

    Does this help?
    https://toyotaparts.lagrangetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-tube-assembly-air-conditioner-8871004181

When I was shopping for my E-brake Cable (backordered for 6 months now) I learned that there are cadres of Toyota parts...Groups that co-share inventory and although it might be "out of stock" if you find another group of dealers that share inventory you might find it in stock there...

    Welll...
    RUST CITY
    But...
    Front wheel bearings 100K
Power steering pressure line (Rusted through)
Clutch Fork snapped a bit ago so I replaced the clutch, master and slave because it was all apart...and now the manual transmission housing has a weep so I have to top it off with about 500ml every year
Rear E-brake locks sometimes even with full rear drum replacement. Known issue with the cable connections through the back plate..
    A/C Clutch shredded and replaced
Air internal/external lever motor failed so I just unplugged it in the External potion to stop the endless "click"
Steering shaft universal joint has some nice rust on it that i Treat with bike chain lube/cleaner and lithium grease
    RUST RUST RUST
Spring bolts have fallen out of the exhaust connecting to manifold. Fixed
Manifold has a crack that dealer said they would weld for $1000...um no....Known issue that the hot manifold can crack from water splashing on the hot engine
Oil Pressure gauge cracked open...$14 fix once I diagnosed it...

If I were not mildly handy that would be a helluva list...but in my head it's "A few things here and there..."
    So no...nothing much :)

I know Bestop sells their toppers with an optional third brake light. Maybe you can contact them and ask they sell them separately since they own Softopper.

Id like a third brake light with would incorporate a camera facing the bed.

i could likely pull the 3rd brake light on my Century canopy. and get something set up. maybe have my brother-in-law make me a few molds off like a template. and then just run wires for power. as for a camera heck you can buy inexpensive cameras pretty cheap. I've a friend who has a couple on truck nose and back.
