So, BX Built is back...but as another LLC.

Yet, didn't they (or he) publicly post how he lost all his assets trying to stay afloat?

    Hmm...

Lol they were twin beds in my great aunts house house, no freakiness.
I can't replace the nut because the whole part of the footboard where it is would have to be cut apart to get the damn thing out. These craftsmen weren't messing around. (It's deep in the wood, so my last resort might be to insert another nut on top of that old one and just use the 3/8-16. I think it'd hold fine, I just wanted to stay true to what was there if I could)

Drove my truck today because its so loud inside that the tinnitus was barely audible. Perks of 20+ year old vehicles.

@Speedytech7 what year and model BMW was it that you recently had? Something was wrong with the turbo right? Oil seals were leaking so when you romped on it, it would dump smoke out of the exhaust?

My bosses grandson started working for us full time and he's an 18yr old kid whose really really into BMWs lol. He's currently got an '11 328ii that's NA but wants to sell it and buy some Bimmer with a turbo. He asked me what mileage he should be looking for on a used one so he doesn't have to do a bunch of work. I just laughed and laughed at his pipe dreams

@Speedytech7 Knows a lot more than I on this topic, but with an 18 year olds budget he outta know he's probably opening a bit of a pandoras box. Unless he's making some decent money from grandad and can get something new-ish-used, but if he's asking about mileage I'm guessing that isn't the case. I'd say narrow it down to models he really really likes if he's gonna go for it, at least when you're fixing shit its on a car he really digs and not just one he got to get a turbo. Records over mileage at the ages he's probably looking at would be the better approach. (Even though I've been guilty of looking for old one owner low milers haha)

I had a 2011 135i, it needed valve stem seals and it would have been mint, but removing the valve train on that car is an insane job because of the variable lift system. Under 100k is the guideline for used BMW without warranty. Have money or skills, preferably a bit of both and you can have one over 100k.

Didn't Pelfry do the same and people caught it right away, I don't get how people think they can just start over and not get found out in today's world. Especially when you basically robbed a bunch of people

Lotta companies just reselling Chinese wholesale items with an outdoorsy name silkscreened on as well these days. These ones are like the hydra, cut as many heads off as you like but MountainLove or RuggedFlex will just be back to take the place of DirtRoad Dreams and the like.

yeah dropship companies are all the rage these days it seems, all selling the same crap but seem to rely primarily on their marketing/social media footprint to stand out and make it seem like what they have is better than the same thing from someone else

I really get having a lineup of things that you've already tested from Chinese wholesale and putting them on your site with the rest of your product line. But if that's all you have... You're not necessary and your business model is fleeting.
