    I hate to see good recreational areas go away.

    On the last morning of the winter camping trip,I showed @McSpazatron and @wi_taco a campground that my ex and I used to visit almost every year, which has been gated off and closed for 8-10 years now. It was a nice, quiet spot on a no-wake lake with good fishing. It's sad to think I'll probably never camp there again.

    I can't remember what year it was, but they closed a handful of smaller campgrounds in the Chequamegon Nicolet national forest. It really sucks because sometimes the smaller, quieter places are the best ones.
