It kills me too. Is that even just a few years ago there would be undeveloped wooded hills between areas and it was a nice different view while driving to work or to the store or whatever. But for some reason people with power think that everything must be torn down and have half million homes put in their place that no one can afford. It's ridiculous. Meanwhile, there are plenty of gutted out strip malls that could have been demolished and had developments put in their place. But nope, we have to tear out the nice forest instead.

Without trying to get banned, I think green places are definitely worth preserving, and one of the things I'm happy to pay taxes for. State and federal campgrounds are consistently better than privately owned campgrounds, because they're not trying to milk out every last bit of profit per acre possible.

It's sad that things like that end up suffering due to politicians' BS.

    On a less bannable topic...

KDMax 9.0 saved my bacon this morning. Got the truck up to 90 then blink of an eye to get away from some Karen who was on her phone driving like a maniac. Kind of surprised she didn't get taken out by a concrete truck

Oh there will be some mods all right
I appreciate all you guys signing it. I'm not certain how many times in the past petitions have actually made a difference but I hope this is one of the times.

I hope it helps. I also spread it around a few Wisconsin Facebook groups I'm in. Hopefully that helps too.

That area extends to very near where my family (back to my great grandfather) and I have always hunted. We were just east of there, north of HWY 8 between Crandon and Laona. It's been a few years since I've been up there, but I know the fire trails back there very well. Though it's not included in the area on the map, I know how special that area is and it would be sad to permanently lose access. SIGNED and shared with my family!

Not sure this is allowed but since the thread says bad financial advise I'm just doing my part...

If anyone is looking for a tow rig, my pops is selling one of the cleanest babied 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins you'll ever find. Never tuned, owned by a previously certified ASE Master. It's in New Mexico but I can answer questions about it first hand if needed. You'll never find one this clean in the midwest I promise.

My brother was an ASE Master. He never owned a car any of us would drive more than a few miles.... Just saying. :crapstorm:

Fair enough, I guess I'd have to qualify that a bit further...you've seen my truck in person and I learned most of my vehicle knowledge from him before the internet became a thing. My truck is a jalopy compared to how he maintains his vehicles. Hope that gives a better idea.

It’s not that far away from Moab. Someone can buy it to tow back their truck from the trip coming up

Is there a trailer included with the truck deal?

Stop thinking so hard, those are minor details. Worry more about making us some fun content to watch.

No trailer included right now but I could ask him to source one locally if someone needed to tow their heap back home.

No heeps on this trip so I guess the dodge will remain safe from WI winters. :)
