my only experience with a failed ac clutch was in my first vehicle that i purchased without working AC. took it to a mechanic and he jumped the clutch with a wire and it worked fine. Then he wanted 700 dollars to replace the AC clutch and for a vehicle worth 2k it wasnt worth it. I wasnt as mechanically savvy at 16 as i am at 39 im sure it was something easy since the clutch proved to work with just a jumper wire.

Mud is what killed my bearing on my clutch. Kinda a PITA to swap it but worth it compared to swapping in an new A/C compressor and dealing with all those ramifications and dealing with R134

Man I was able to get a clutch kit from Toyota directly for 125$ which is a damn steal the local dealer wanted close to 600 for parts and labor

I second you on that man I was assuming when looking into how the compressor is mounted and the space that you have is little to none which is terrible. I can't imagine how tough it would be to get it in and out on that thing has to be a nightmare.

There's tons of them near Dalton conasauga district is there which is cohutta wilderness. Also a shooting range in that are I've got a secret campsite spot on the other side of the range real primitive spot I came across and did some cleaning up and clearing with a couple of chainsaws and made a fire pit

I think that will work perfectly don't know if I will be able to do Friday night but Saturday and Sunday won't be a problem at all.

I sent the campsite coordinates to @Pizzasteve5717 to check out and see what the area is looking like while he's working in Dalton for the week but I'll still share the coordinates so you can look into the area is Cohutta wildlife management area I haven't been out there for a few months curious as to how it's looking I do know there is a group camp spot north of the lake conasauga area that is big enough for all of us on here to camp out at.

That's the area of the campsite where I last camped out there. It's on the back side of the Sumac shooting range which is a freaking awesome shooting range to go to if you like outdoor ranges

Absolutely the install isn't quite what they make it out to be took me a total of about 2 hours in and out all together and of course checking over all pulleys and making sure everything while the skid plate was off greased fittings and checked boots on cv axles and as well as the rack and pinion which I have to get replaced. But I'll end up doing that before the summer hits.
