I was just talking some shit :D

I'm not against any brand. Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki are all I have ever owned. The European bikes are sexy as hell though.

I'd take a Triumph Thruxton in a heartbeat

Picked up a new ramp that I only discovered from word of mouth, Ready Ramp. Doubles as a tailgate extender for when you have two bikes in the bed and need the tailgate down. Pretty reasonably priced too in my opinion at $250 delivered.

It's cool that it serves more than one purpose. I like products like that.

And serves it well too, the straps do a really good job of securing it in place. Two of them grab the latches on the tailgate and two grab the latches on the truck.

I’d accidentally ordered a non folding ramp and after my first trip with it I needed something different.

That's really cool! Kind of tempting to get one so I can leave the bikes in the bed straight instead of diagonally.

That’s why I got it! My first trip was with another bike so we needed the tailgate down and our bags and other gear had to be tied down and smaller stuff put in the cab. This makes it way more convenient.

Just came across this last night. Unsure if it might apply to you but figured I should share it just in case.

Check your VIN against the list or check with the dealer. Hoping this misses you.

Agreed. I'm just really hoping @woodtickgreg isn't one of the affected people. Poor guys has been waiting on picking it up and you know he's just itching to go put some miles on it. Fingers crossed his bike isn't on that list.....

Thanks for that heads up. I really appreciate you tagging me on this.Thankfully mine is not one in that serial number range, phew! My letter prefix of the last 6 numbers is bc. So the bad parts where after that.

I was really hoping you'd be in the clear! Never meaning to rain on anyone's parade I just figured the sooner you heard about it the quicker you could push for resolution so you can get riding. Glad you're not in the recall pool!

I tried to put the deposit on the bike on Friday, no answer. Got an email that I can call and get it done so I call... and he's out of the office. :annoyed: I left my number to get him to call me back. I'll try again tomorrow morning.

Hopefully first ride is this Sunday, supposed to go up to 50 degrees. I've got the dgr ride planned for end of May. I'm also planning a 4 or 5 day get away ride the end of June. Just me and my bike, don't know where I'm going until I get there, I'm just bugging out for a few days. Im staying off the freeways, just back roads or us highways only. It really gives me something to look forward to.
