I ran something similar on my 2016. Maybe not quite a 3” lift but I ran 285’s. With the pinch weld hammering and cmc they rubbed occasionally off road. Was a good build I thought.

Didn’t have to cut fenders or anything serious.

Just a few accessories, mud flaps, bed cover , racks, seat covers, ….
I think you’ve already made your choice, go for it, you can always reverse the part.

Because... Your stock truck will go places your balls will fear to go. Drive it. You will then know what you need. A stock Tacoma will definitely go where normal people stop long before that point.
    Unless you wanna look cool.

I hated my stock TRD OR suspension from the moment I first drove it. Because I had the same on my second gen, I went with Nitrochargers and OME 886 on the front and Nitrochargers with Dakar HD in the rear at 1,500km on my '21 TRD OR. Front came up 2.5", rear 3" and the ride was much much better and still not harsh. Within 6 months I added front and rear bumpers, winch, full skids and airbags (not sure if I'd do airbags again). I'm daily loaded for work in the bush with gear to 6500lbs. At 2.5" front (even with the bumper/winch/skids I'm 2.5" up in the front) you don't need upper control arms and probably don't need the ecgs bearing replacement.

I run a 32" skinny tire (235/85/16), a 33" is pretty much the limit for our crappy stock gearing.

But. Like others who are trying to help you are trying to help you get the right parts the first go around. A lot of the parts you want in your list are out dated. I know one who said go Camburg ucas, but they’re made more for their LT kits they offer. Total Chaos works more for that 3” lift and bringing that caster to stock range. In this game you get what you pay for goes a long way of performance vs mall crawler. I’m gonna say the same as to go enjoy it for a bit and save up more of that hard earned $$$

Oh. And not sure who in this thread referred OME is comparable to Bilstein was way off especially when OME has nothing in comparison to the 8125 coilovers or 9200 triple bypasses I was running from them. I know this for a fact as I’m sponsored by Bilstein.

Went from a couple taco LT to MT to tundras with this LT above to mid travel as well. Now back to tacos as they’re better for what I plan for my next project.
OP again listen to everyone who gave their .02

Just because you’re sponsored doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about. OME Nitrochargers are comparable to 5100s, no one said they are the same as 8100s.

OP - slap some good 255/85/16s on your stock wheels and go drive the truck off-road for a while and decide what kind of suspension you really want or need.

Okay. In that respect I’ll agree with you on the comparison. But even then I’d go 5100/6112 over OME.

So you can see what the trucks capable of and what you actually need / dont need.

Do you know if your front shocks are extended travel?

Im running OME 2887 springs and 60091 shocks in front, so 2” lift. I only get about 2 1/4” of downtravel. Can feel shocks top out at times. Stock UCAs.

Stock, it’s about 4” up and 4” down.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. That is something the first commenter pointed out as well. I had read in a lift kit online that the OME 90000 with the 2886 coils would provide 2.5-3 inches of lift in the front, but it gave disclaimer saying the assembly was best suited to a winch and bumper combination. That supposedly should leave me with with 2.5 in the front and hopefully enough down travel to avoid problems. Going to be watching this closely.

Are you using the 60091 in the front? 4WP lists it as a "rear shock".

I considered the 5100/6112. The fact Bilstein comes stock on the truck from Toyota is a pretty high recommendation. A lot of people have taken the OMEs through hell too though and I felt I couldn't go wrong with either. If I ever have any problems with them Bilstein will be my next choice without a doubt. I never for a moment considered an KING/FOX/ICON setup its been Billstein vs OME for me and how I intend to use the truck.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
All shocks are better than stock if you plan to use it Offroad. I highly encourage you to take a look at this YouTube channel and go from there. Shinny things are awesome but sometimes you can do more with less cash. I am on 5100’s all around, OME 885x in the fronts(bottom clip) I got about 2” of lift and white line bushings and no sway bar. Rear is a homemade 6 leaf with no overload and to ease the impacts I got wheelers superbump all around with the u bolt flip. Love how the truck behaves. Learned a lot from Kai.

Alot of people on here seem to have a kinda of gatekeeper reaction as if any truck not on Kings coilover shocks with remote reservoir are instantly street trucks.
YES he is amazing and saved me from buying a Diff drop. Its nice to have that level of engineering expertise available like that. He also has kinda swayed me away from SPC UCA becuase he mentions they arent as important on the newer models for this platform.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
So you know what your truck really needs, and what is not needed. And it's good to experience what a stock truck is capable of.

Similar to modified sports cars on the race track. It's good to get a baseline so you know if that part you put on really makes an improvement or not. I've seen people put on shitty low-grade/wrongly set-up coilovers just to make them ride like crap.

But if you want to do it for looks, more power to you.
